Yakkuboev Nodirbek

Yakkuboev Nodirbek is one of the most proficient junior chess players nowadays and has a great strength to show off. This is one interesting player that you will like to see playing, as there are many things we can learn from his game.

This young player is from Uzbekistan, and he has entered the top 10 best junior players on the FIDE official list. Although he hasn’t received the attention he deserves, he is a pretty rough player to face.

Today you will see some of his best games on official tournaments, and the reason why he has gotten so far in his chess path. He has won the Zonal Chess Championships of Uzbekistan many times, and in his family, he is not the only one who plays chess.

His older sister Nilufar Yakubbaeva is a very good chess player too, which is interesting to know. He surely practices with his sister too, and the family should be proud of their children.

Yakkuboev Nodirbek secured a place to compete in the world chess cup of 2021, which he did. And he tied the second place with another grandmaster just behind the GM Nodirbek Abdusattorov.

Now, let us have a look at the impressive game of this player and his incredible potential.

Yakkuboev Nodirbek’s playstyle

We have seen Yakkuboev Nodirbek playing a very interesting system, yet it is really weird in fact. This player likes to make moves that you surely don’t expect, and it is something special about some players.

Playing for the unexpected can pay off in the end, but is something that not many players do well. We can’t say that he prefers attack over defense, as he has preferred different options in different situations.

The thing is, he is a player that simply likes to adapt to what the game is asking for, If a defense or attack is required it doesn’t matter. A very flexible player that can adapt to different situations, after all, preferences are weaknesses.

Excellent about Yakkuboev Nodirbek that he learned to conduct himself in different scenarios of play. You will also see that he is a pretty methodical player, he likes to prepare very well for the situations to come.

He will not start any actions until everything is fine and prepared, which has cost him some advantage in certain scenarios. Now, we will show you some of the best games by this player.
